- Class "2" is a defacto-standard that a number of modem manufacturers
- developed while they were waiting for the official "2.0" standard to be
- adopted. The two are not compatible. There is very little software for
- the 2.0 standard, even the software that USR ships with its own modems
- does not support it.

- Unfortunately the USR modems support only 1 and 2.0, it's too bad they
- don't support 1, 2, and 2.0
