  21. Class "2" is a defacto-standard that a number of modem manufacturers 
  22. developed while they were waiting for the official "2.0" standard to be 
  23. adopted.  The two are not compatible.  There is very little software for 
  24. the 2.0 standard, even the software that USR ships with its own modems 
  25. does not support it.

  27. Unfortunately the USR modems support only 1 and 2.0, it's too bad they
  28. don't support 1, 2, and 2.0
